Meet Your Teacher
My name is Mrs. Asta Cuplinskas. I teach 4th and 5th grade Science and Spelling, in addition to homeroom Religion. I have a BS from the University of Chicago and an MS from Northwestern, IL certification, and concentrations in Science and Social Studies. In addition to teaching, I have worked at the Field Museum, public libraries, cultural schools, and summer camps. In Science I provide opportunities for students to explore, question, and test their ideas. I keep students engaged by providing real-world context while maintaining high expectations for content learning.
