St. Mary Sports Club
The St. Mary Sports Club is a volunteer organization that manages the sports programs that are provided to the St. Mary Community. The Sports Club Board is a non-profit entity managing and funding the athletic programs via an activity based fee structure. A director for each sport has responsibility for player signup, preparing budgets, scheduling games, addressing program issues and attending monthly Sport Club meetings. All directors and coaches are required to have successfully completed Virtus training and must undergo a background screening before they can participate in the execution of any program. The sports programs are governed by a code of conduct that is documented in the athletic handbook located on the school website and any sports specific guidelines which are distributed at time of registration. We collectively strive to provide an environment to enable our children to develop physical/athletic skills within a Christian framework of team play, competition and cooperation. As your Director of Athletics I invite you to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have related to the sports club, staff or programs. Bob Mosbrook (708) 932-2495 [email protected]
All students must maintain their grades in order to remain on the team/squad.
Good sportsmanship is mandatory as it is not about winning so much as learning and maintaining our Catholic identity through wins and loses.
